    But it's only on on goal difference ... the group's closed right up after Northern Ireland saw off visiting Slovakia 2-nil.

    Those three teams are now dead level on points with two wins and a loss each.

    Elsewhere, France closed in on qualification for next year's World Cup with a lacklustre 3-nil home win over Azerbaijan.

    North Macedonia held Belgium to a scoreless draw away in their World Cup qualifier and keep a one-point lead in their group.
