    Police say a prisoner who escaped custody this month - wasn't considered highly dangerous


    Paul Kyle Peekay Rehua was arrested yesterday after 10 days on the run.

    The 42 year-old was in custody charged with doing an indecent act.

    He'd escaped prison before in 2010.

    Waitemata Police District Commander Naila Hassan says in the last week police arrested several people with drugs and loaded firearms.

    She says they must weigh up where they prioritise resources.
