Labour leader Chris Hipkins says his team is energised and focused on making the coalition Government a one-term Government

The Labour Party conference is happening this weekend in Auckland's CBD with President Jill Day speaking this morning.

Hipkins will address the party faithful tomorrow afternoon.

The party has made three policy announcements so far ahead of next year's election - including its capital gains tax policy.
