    Inclement weather bearing down on the South Island has forced Coast to Coast organisers to activate an alternative mountain run route for the two-day event starting tomorrow morning


    Race officials have confirmed the famous Goat Pass crossing will be replaced with a highway and trail-based alternative - up and over the Otira Viaduct.
