    Police say they're working at speed to find those involved in an altercation that's left a person in critical condition, and three others injured in Christchurch's Northcote


    Emergency services were called to Hoani Street around 9.30 last night.

    Canterbury District Commander Superintendent Tony Hill says one person is in critical condition, and another with serious injuries.

    He says Police believe the parties involved are known to each other - and the risk to the wider public is minimal.

    Cordons remain in place while a scene examination is carried out.
