The Christmas break hasn't slowed New Zealanders' enthusiasm for purchasing properties

The Christmas break hasn't slowed New Zealanders' enthusiasm for purchasing properties

REINZ figures show December had the highest number of residential properties sold for the month of December, in three years.

Tall Poppy Real Estate director Sam McIntyre says they had a surprisingly high finish to the year.

He says usually December is a funny month with people on holiday - but in the week before Christmas, they saw their highest ever sales week.
