English golfer Richard Bland could be on to something when he says it's been a year for the oldies

The 48-year-old's tied for the lead with American Russell Henley after the second round of the US golf Open at Torrey Pines.
Bland carded a four under 67, taking him to five under overall alongside Henley.
He credits 51-year-old Phil Mickelson who won the PGA Championship last month and 48-year-old Lee Westwood, and he says when you're world class, you don't lose anything overnight.
