Police have been called to five shootings in Auckland overnight -- including four in less than an hour

Police have been called to five shootings in Auckland overnight -- including four in less than an hour

Several homes were hit by a spray of bullets.

The firearms incidents were reported in Otara, Papatoetoe, Flat Bush, Papakura, and Te Atatu between 6.30 and 9.30 last night.

Our newsroom understands the latest shootings are directly linked to a series of tit-for-tat attacks and a feud between the two formerly allied gangs.

It follows shootings in Otara and Kaikohe on Monday.
