Bed Bath and Beyond - must pay a more than 230 thousand-dollar fine, for selling a record number of unsafe products

The Commerce Commission took the company to court over its non-compliant children's pyjamas and hot water bottles.

Between March and October 2023, it sold more than 27-thousand products without correct safety information or instructions.

The outlet's been sentenced in the Auckland District Court for five breaches of the Fair Trading Act.
