    Auckland Police have arrested a 27-year-old man after discovering a shotgun in his car


    Inspector Rachel Dolheguy says they stopped the man on Carbine Road in Mt Wellington at 2.30am.

    She says they found a baseball bat, a sawn-off shotgun and ammunition in the vehicle.

    The man will appear in Auckland District Court next week.
