    An investigation's underway following a serious incident in Napier overnight


    Police were called to Alexander Avenue in Onekawa just after 3am.

    There are cordons at the intersections of Hitchings, Alexander, and Dinwiddie Avenue and Wallis Place.

    They're expected to remain through the day, as a scene examination gets underway.
