Police are still piecing together what happened to a newborn baby, found dead in a wheelie bin in Auckland on Tuesday night

The body was found in a bin on Renall Street in Ponsonby.

A woman's in custody ... Police aren't seeking anyone else.

Newstalk ZB's Michael Sergel has been at the scene, where Police remain around-the-clock.

He says detectives are seeking CCTV from residents on the street, and searching other bins for other potential evidence.
