???1;Fresh avenues for Waikato Police to explore - after what's believed to be a sighting of fugitive Tom Phillips, and one of his children

???1;Fresh avenues for Waikato Police to explore - after what's believed to be a sighting of fugitive Tom Phillips, and one of his children

Police have released CCTV footage of a retail burglary carried out by two people wearing masks in the King Country town of Piopio - early on Wednesday.

The store is one the Marokopa father is believed to have targeted unsuccessfully in 2023.

Detective Senior Sergeant Andy Saunders says the targeting of this store, along with the use of a quad bike - is something officers are investigating.

He say they've always had Marokopa as an area of interest, and have considered Phillips might be residing in more than one location - so that's something they're looking into.
