All Blacks hooker Samisoni Taukei'aho is declaring himself ready for arguably his biggest test start in nearly three years

All Blacks hooker Samisoni Taukei'aho is declaring himself ready for arguably his biggest test start in nearly three years

Taukei'aho takes the place of the concussed Codie Taylor for the rematch with the Springboks in Wellington tomorrow.

The last time he started a test match of this magnitude was against Scotland in Edinburgh in 2022.

After a knee injury wrecked his 2024, Taukei'aho says it's been a long road but he's been grateful for the support of the likes of forwards coach Jason Ryan.

Live commentary on Newstalk ZB, Gold Sport and iHeart Radio from 7 tomorrow night.
