Our largest sheep-meat exporter, Alliance Group, has returned to profit - as it prepares for the arrival of a new majority owner

It's recorded a net 24.6 million dollar before-tax profit, after two years of large losses, including 120-million-dollars last year.

Chair Mark Wynne says it represents a major milestone in the reset - as the company looks forward to the joint venture with Ireland's Dawn Meats Group.
