    A man's appearing in court today, over a Hamilton hit and run that's left a person in serious but stable condition in hospital


    They were hit on Fairview Downs' Raymond Street about three yesterday afternoon.

    Police say they used traffic cameras to track down a vehicle involved - and take two people into custody in the Kaimai Ranges near Tauranga, about four hours later.

    A 34-year-old man's due in Hamilton District Court today, charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

    Anyone who saw the crash should contact Crimestoppers or 105 .
