The exhibitors are in place - and the gates are about to open at Fieldays

More than 100-thousand people are expected to attend the four-day agricultural event at Mystery Creek, just south of Hamilton.

The 2019 event drew more than half a billion dollars in sales revenue for New Zealand businesses, but last year's event was cancelled due to Covid-19.

Chief executive Peter Nation is on site ahead of gates opening in half an hour .

He says it's a busy place -- with almost 14-hundred sites, 11-hundred exhibitors, and service and support industries.
