The Wellington Phoenix are desperate to be back in front of their fans as soon as possible

The Wellington Phoenix are desperate to be back in front of their fans as soon as possible

The Kiwi club continues its A-League football campaign against the Central Coast Mariners this evening.

The Phoenix are scheduled to return to Sky Stadium on January 29, but will need border exemptions for their Australian players.

In the meantime, they'll be based in Wollongong, but coach Ufuk Talay says it's not the same.

Kick off's at five past seven.
