A poignant day for the All Blacks in Paris

A poignant day for the All Blacks in Paris

The opening of their training week ahead of Sunday's test against France has coincided with Armistice Day, marking the end to the first World War.

Forwards coach Jason Ryan says they've held commemorations in camp.

Sam Cane and Mark Tele'a have been ruled out of Sunday's test with head and hand injuries respectively.

A trio from the second-tier Development XV squad have been summoned - flanker Du'Plessis Kirifi, outside back Chay Fihaki and lock Fabian Holland - the latter comes in for Sam Darry's knee knock.

Codie Taylor and Beauden Barrett remain on track for recoveries this weekend, but Dalton Papali'i and Ethan Blackadder will not join the squad as planned.
