Yungblud has gone on a major health kick

The 27-year-old singer - whose real name is Dominic Richard Harrison - has taken up boxing and has decided to cut out alcohol all in a bid to "get [himself] straight" in the New Year

He told The Sun newspaper's Bizarre column: "I've been boxing every f****** day.

"I've been getting fit and trying to get myself straight.

"I've quit booze for a bit too!"

The 'I'm a Mess' hitmaker is also planning to get some new tattoos done as he embraces a "new" version of himself.

He said: "It's a New Year, new Dom.

"A couple more tattoos and I'm rocking."

Meanwhile, Dominic is gearing up to release the follow-up to his eponymous record - which topped the charts upon its release in 2022 - and has promised fans that it is "biggest" one yet.

He said: "I can't wait for my fans to hear it. It's the biggest, most ambitious project yet.

"The first song is nine minutes long.

    "It's mental."

Just weeks ago, Dominic revealed that he had struck up a close friendship with Roger Daltry- who is the co-founder of the rock band the Who - but he almost rejected the initial phone call as it came from an unknown number.

My phone kept ringing and it was a weird number so I ignored it.

"But it kept going so I answered and this man said, 'Hello, it's Roger.'

"I was like, 'Roger f****** who?' And he said: 'It's me, Roger Daltrey, I'm just on a ladder fixing my roof'."

Roger, 80, then invited Yungblud to go fly fishing with him.

Yungblud said: "He told me he was a big fan and invited me to go fly fishing with him.

"When I've got the time I'll be putting on my wellies and going down to see him."
