    This week marks 20 years since the beginning of the Britomart precinct regeneration in Auckland's CBD


    The nine-blocks neighbouring the Waitemata Station was a ring of abandoned heritage buildings, when Auckland Council put development rights up for offer in the early 2000s.

    Owners Cooper and Company says five-thousand people work at the precinct's 120 businesses.

    Chief Executive Matthew Cockram says it's pleasing to look back on the difference made and the interest brought to the CBD.
