    Auckland Council's dog desexing programme has hit a major milestone


    More than one-thousand dogs have got the snip since two pilot initiatives were launched last year.

    The initiatives are a desexing clinic in West Auckland's Henderson, and a voucher partnership with the SPCA.

    Auckland recorded more than 15-thousand roaming dogs last year.

    The region has more than one-thousand-300 attacks.
