The pharmacy sector is concerned year long prescriptions will change the way GP visits operate

Those with long-term conditions can now receive 12-month prescriptions - reducing trips to the GP - and saving about 100 dollars in yearly fees.
But chair of the Independent Community Pharmacy Group Clive Cannons says it's not appropriate for every patient to get a year long prescription.
He says some doctors are nervous about how appointments may now look.
He says some doctors may prefer to see a patient every three months which is entirely their call.
