Selena Gomez tried to be "sneaky" to keep her wedding dress under wraps

The Only Murders In The Building actress - who got married to Benny Blanco last month - has opened up about her three different bridal gowns, and explained that she wanted to make sure she was the first person to share photos from the big day

She told The Jennifer Hudson Show: "I tried to do this sneaky thing - I'm sure you can relate - but I didn't want anyone to get photos of my wedding unless it was from me.

"I keep my life as private as I can, so that dress was initially for the [first] look and then this [lace ceremony] one was made by Ralph Lauren - they all were - but this was my favorite dress."

According to the fashion icon, the dress - which featured "300 hand-shaped and applied lace flowers" also referenced the newlyweds' initials in the design.

Ralph Lauren posted on Instagram: "A custom silk lace dress featuring 300 hand-shaped and applied lace flowers and crystal embellishments on a hand-painted corset, embroidered with an inscription of the couple's initials and wedding date."

Meanwhile, Benny paid tribute to Selena with his custom wedding ring, which was created by luxury jeweller Jacob + Co.

The company made the one-of-a-kind 18-carat gold wedding ring, which featured the couple's wedding date engraved on the inside, with a 0.03 carat round pave ruby and a similar-sized pave aquamarine - Selena and Benny's birthstones respectively - also on the inside of the band.

The firm also created a watch and bracelet for Benny to wear on the big day.

Jacob + Co. CEO Benjamin Arabov said in a statement: "Jewellery tells a story, and with these bespoke creations, we wanted to capture Benny and Selena's love in its purest form.

"Every detail down to the choice of stones, was meant to honour their journey and create heirlooms that will last forever. We are proud to be part of this journey."
