Travel chaos as a number of Air New Zealand and Jetstar flights are cancelled around the country

Travel chaos as a number of Air New Zealand and Jetstar flights are cancelled around the country

The flight disruptions are due to a global software issue affecting Airbus A320 planes.

Air New Zealand says all A320neo aircraft in its fleet will receive a software update before operating their next passenger service which will lead to disruptions today.

Jetstar also says some of its flights have been unable to depart at this stage and has apologised to customers for the inconvenience caused.
