Noah Schnapp read the script for the final season of Stranger Things in the shower

The 21-year-old actor plays Will Byers in the hit Netflix show, and Noah has confessed to being wowed by the script for the fifth and final season of Stranger Things.

Speaking to People, Noah shared: "I remember I had people texting me before the scripts came out like, 'Noah, watch out. You're going to like this season'. And I was like, 'Oh, whatever, whatever.' And then we got to the day before the table read and I was reading it in the shower and I was like, 'Oh, my God.' Like, calling my mom, 'Oh my God, you have to read it,' and freaking out. I was skimming it as I was getting ready in the shower."

Noah also feels proud of the show's overarching message.

The actor - who stars alongside the likes of David Harbour, Finn Wolfhard, and Millie Bobby Brown - said: "It's a show at its core about friendship and connection and belonging and embracing your differences, and it just makes you feel a part of something.

"It makes you feel empowered to be proud to be different and proud to be who you are. And I love that about it and I think that's why others do as well."

Meanwhile, Millie recently acknowledged that her Stranger Things experience has been "wonderful".

The 21-year-old actress has played Eleven in the Netflix series since 2016, and Millie admitted that she's developed a strong connection to her on-screen character.

She told Extra: "It's amazing. I mean, it's been such a wonderful journey.

"It's been half my life ... I don't know what my life would be without the show. It's just been it's been so impactful to me and yeah, it's very surreal to be here and talking about the last season, but I'm just so blessed and so grateful that I was able to be a part of it."
