Rebel Wilson is determined to teach her daughter about confidence

The Australian actress and mother wants to ensure her child knows how to face the world with self-assurance.

Rebel Wilson is determined to teach her daughter about confidence. The 43-year-old actress and fiancée Ramona Agruma welcomed Royce via surrogate in 2022 and Rebel admitted that she has learned from her own body confidence issues and wants to instil self-belief in her little girl. She told Us Weekly: "I want her to grow up into a strong, confident young woman. I've had my own issues with confidence and self-esteem. I definitely want her to be raised where she fully loves herself and accepts herself. That would make me feel really proud. I think I've learned how to become that myself, and I'd love to pass that on." Rebel has also launched a new book 'Bella The Brave', which she hopes will send a message to children about believing in themselves. She added: "The message is: It's OK to be different. Don't be afraid to use your voice. Don't be afraid to stand up for yourself. As a kid, I was very shy. I had to learn to overcome that." Meanwhile, Rebel is now working on her memoir and has teased that it will delve into the details of her relationship with Ramona. She explained: "There's a whole chapter about finding Ramona and what it's like to fall in love as a gay woman for the first time when you're in your 40s. I think that's really cool. My life has had a lot of twists and turns. It's just so weird that in my 40s I've had a baby, found my soulmate and written a memoir."
