Ajaz Patel insists he's never let his Black Caps dream die as eyes the prospect of a first cricket test on home soil in five years

The 37-year-old left-arm spinner has replaced the injured Blair Tickner for New Zealand's third and final match against the West Indies.

Patel, who's 85 test wickets have all come abroad, says he's an optimistic person.
