Any English Premiership club unable to field a team because of positive covid-19 cases in their squad could be handed a 20-nil defeat when the season resumes this weekend

A panel will ratify the punishment.

The season has been suspended since March and will now play before empty stadiums.

Meanwhile, the Black Lives Matter movement will get support in the form of pre-match gestures.

Bath have opted for a huddle, Bristol will form a heart and Gloucester and Worcester are executing V-formations.

Exeter will show their "full support", Leicester and Wasps are taking knees and Harlequins, Northampton, Sale and Saracens will don T-shirts.
