The operation targets importation, manufacture and supply of methamphetamine, MDMA, and other drugs.

Police and Customs staff carried out searches today at 21 properties in Auckland, and three in Christchurch.

Another 10 gang members and associates have been arrested in relation to alleged roles in the network, transporting drugs and cash between the two cities.

Twelve people aged between 20 and 42 will appear in the Auckland District Court in coming days.
