    Police have arrested three people in Christchurch in connection to the Headhunters gang


    It follows reports of two Mercedes driving dangerously through Central Otago yesterday.

    Information received by police suggested they were headed to Picton.

    But at 11.30pm both vehicles were found in Christchurch, at a property found to have two firearms, methamphetamine and cannabis.

    Two patched members Headhunters have been arrested - and a gang prospect.

    A 47--year-old man will appear in the Christchurch District Court today charged with possession of methamphetamine.
