    A 35-year-old woman has been charged after a shooting incident in east Christchurch this month


    One person is still in Hospital in a serious condition, after emergency services were called to Aranui's Aldershot Street about 10.20pm on May 1.

    A police spokeswoman says the woman has been charged with careless use of a firearm causing injury.

    The woman has appeared in Christchurch District Court this morning, with a next appearance on June 9.
