The paediatric society is highlighting the benefits of breast milk as World Breast Feeding week began today

The paediatric society is highlighting the benefits of breast milk as World Breast Feeding week began today

Throughout the week organisations will run virtual chats and interviews with experts providing advice and support around breast feeding.

The week will end with a virtual latch on, in which women will simultaneously breast-feed their babies.

Paediatric Society President Nicola Austin says we can all play our part.

She says people's attitudes towards breastfeeding have an impact on mums.
