    A Christchurch 16-year-old has pleaded not guilty to murdering Levi Haami


    The 18-year-old was attacked in the Moorhouse Ave Countdown carpark early on Saturday, and died in hospital yesterday.

    His alleged attacker has name suppression.

    Haami is the third Christchurch teen to die at others' hands in four months.

    Herald reporter Anna Leask was in court today.

    She says the accused and victim didn't know each other.

    Leask says it seems like Haami was in the wrong place at the wrong time and there's no indication of what the motive was.
