Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer's wife of 13 years has died

A representative for the musician confirmed Linda Kramer, a former contract administrator for Hewlett-Packard, had passed away on June 22 aged 55

The cause of death has not yet been made public.

An obituary obtained by PEOPLE on Friday (01.07.22) described Linda as filled with "a wicked, mischievous sense of humour" who enjoyed Hallmark Christmas movies and had "a passion for driving fast cars".

She was also said to have cared deeply about her family, friends, and her dogs, Lucy and Cosmo.

Kramer and Linda were married in October 2009, with the musician calling her the love of his life.

Her obituary said: "Linda loved Joey deeply and his well-being and happiness were her top priority."

She is survived by her husband, her parents, her three sisters, her stepsiblings, her stepson Jesse, as well as her nieces and nephews.

Kramer announced in March he would not be joining Aerosmith for the relaunch of its 'Deuces Are Wild' residency in Las Vegas this summer, saying family issues were behind his "temporary leave of absence".

The dates were cancelled in May when the band's frontman Steven Tyler, 74, went into rehab after a relapse in his sobriety following a recent foot surgery.

News of Kramer's wife's death came as Tyler was said to be doing "amazingly well" after completing a 30-day rehabilitation stint following his addiction battle.

The singer is said to be clean and sober after checking himself out of a rehab facility, family sources told TMZ on Friday (01.07.22), with insiders adding the performer is at a "healthy weight".

Aerosmith's next show is set to take place at the Maine Savings Amphitheater in Bangor, Maine, on 4 September.
