The Blues have had to make three changes to their starting line-up for tonight's Super Rugby encounter against the Highlanders at Eden Park

First five Stephen Perofeta's dodgy shoulder won't be risked and Bryce Heem and Marcel Renata aren't playing after picking up calf niggles at training.

Prop Angus Ta'avao, centre AJ Lam and winger Kade Banks will now start.

Despite the changes, Highlanders captain Ethan de Groot says the Blues gameplan won't change.

The Highlanders are looking to consolidate their spot in the top eight after three straight wins, while the Blues are looking to leapfrog the Hurricanes back to the top of the table.

The Fijian Drua's celebrating a 5th win from 12 matches...dispatching the Reds 28-19 in Suva.
