Molly Sims is tired of being told that she "looks good for 50"

The model celebrated her landmark birthday in May 2023, but Molly doesn't actually worry too much about her age, insisting that she's simply "trying to look the best that [she] can"

Molly told Us Weekly: "I think it's just a mindset.

"I hate when people are like, 'Oh, my God. She looks good for 50.' Listen, I'm not trying to look 30. I'm definitely not trying to look 20. I am trying to look the best that I can."

Molly founded her skincare brand, YSE Beauty, in 2023, and the model wants her company to reflect her personal outlook on life.

She explained: "I don't want to be spoken to like I'm someone's grandmother. I don't want to be targeted like, 'I'm sorry you're so old.' I don't want my products to reflect that.

"I wanted something easy because as a mom, I don't have a lot of time for downtime. If I did, I would be in my closet drinking, but I don't have time. So for me, that's how YSE came about. I said, 'What can we do in a very short amount of time in a very efficacious way?'"

Meanwhile, Molly previously confessed that it can be "hard" to age.

The model also acknowledged that she often didn't feel as good as she looked during her younger years.

Molly told SheKnows: "Listen, is it hard to age? It is. It's hard.

"I think the biggest thing is I look back and wish I would have felt as good as I looked.

"I was recently with someone who's modelling a little bit, and you just see the struggle of never feeling like you look great because you're always being criticised or looked at."
