    A severe thunderstorm warning's been issued for Wellington and the Wairarapa


    MetService is warning thunderstorms with very heavy rain and hail are moving towards the region from offshore.

    It's expected to hit Wellington's south coast any time now , reaching the southern Remutaka Range in about half-an-hour .
