    A surprise NPC outing has Ethan de Groot fit and ready to step in for the All Blacks' upcoming Bledisloe Cup test in Sydney


    The prop has recovered from a neck injury and will replace the injured Fletcher Newell in the squad.

    De Groot was solid after being released to play for Southland against Canterbury on Friday.

    De Groot didn't think he'd get to play for his beloved Stags this year.
