On their way to the World Cup

On their way to the World Cup

That's the confident assessment from former All White David Chote after the New Zealand football side breezed through the penultimate phase of Oceania qualifying for the 2026 tournament.

In the wake of an 8-nil thumping of Samoa - Chote says all signs are positive ahead of the playoffs in March.

The All White will face Fiji in the semifinals - with the winner to face either Tahiti or New Caledonia for a spot at the expanded World Cup.
