The coroner is warning people not to drink and drive this holiday season, after two recent fatal crashes

The coroner is warning people not to drink and drive this holiday season, after two recent fatal crashes

Ronnie Ta-kao and Brock Moffat both died in September in separate incidents.

Both men were disqualified from driving and had driving-related convictions.

Mr Takao's blood alcohol reading was five times over the legal limit.

    Mr Moffats was three.

Both had also taken drugs, were warned by people not to drive, and were not wearing their seatbelt.

The coroner says these tragic deaths were avoidable, and serve as a reminder not to drive when under the influence.
