At least three people have been arrested so far at large gang funeral in Napier

At least three people have been arrested so far at large gang funeral in Napier

More than 400 cars have moved though Napier as part of the funeral procession for a Mongrel Mob Barbarian chapter president who died last week.

The Herald understands there could have been as many as 15 instances of the gang patch ban being flouted.

Police say they had already issued 60 infringement notices, impounded two vehicles and processed four people for excess breath alcohol yesterday.
