    Live updates: Israel and Hamas agree to ceasefire in Gaza, Qatari Prime Minister announces

    Israel and Hamas have agreed to a complex ceasefire deal that will see hostilities in Gaza end and hostages and prisoners released in stages. Follow live.


    Israel and Hamas have agreed to a ceasefire in Gaza, Qatar's Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani has announced.

    The complex agreement includes multiple stages, and will see hostages taken by Hamas released from Gaza, and Palestinian prisoners freed from Israeli jails in the coming weeks.
