Black Foils driver Peter Burling has described his perspective after a scary moment for rivals Australia in the final fleet race of the latest Sail GP event in San Francisco

Black Foils driver Peter Burling has described his perspective after a scary moment for rivals Australia in the final fleet race of the latest Sail GP event in San Francisco

Australia's wingsail snapped and collapsed onto the deck of their boat as they approached the startline.

While the crew escaped unharmed - Burling says it'll be interesting to see the review and determine what actually happened.

New Zealand finished fifth overall - Spain won the final.
