Another public relations debacle has engulfed Manly halfback Daly Cherry-Evans and his NRL playing future

Another public relations debacle has engulfed Manly halfback Daly Cherry-Evans and his NRL playing future

    - article from www.rugbyleague.co.nz

He's announced this will be his last season at the Sea Eagles.

The 36-year-old is yet to decide if he'll retire or play elsewhere in 2026.

That was news to Manly owner and chair Scott Penn, who told NRL 360 they're willing to table a two-year extension estimated at 770 thousand dollars per annum.

Cherry-Evans has been asked on Channel Nine whether he'd consider that.

Cherry-Evans back-flipped on a deal with Gold Coast in 2015 to stay at Manly.
