    Police have closed down a section of road in Nelson, after a suspicious item was found this afternoon

    Police have closed down a section of road in Nelson, after a suspicious item was found this afternoon


    Officers were called to the Waimea Road address, after reports of the item and an alleged threat.

    Police say a cordon is in place as a precaution while the item is identified.
