Game of Thrones star Isaac Hempstead-Wright is a married man

The 26-year-old former actor - who played Bran Stark in the hit fantasy series - tied the knot with his partner at a ceremony in London over the weekend (25-26.10.25)

Isaac named his bride only as "M" and paid tribute to her in a sweet post on Instagram, writing: "The best person I have ever met, the best day of my life, the best friends and family we could ever ask for. What a day, what a life - I love you M.

"An enormous thank you to everyone who made the day so special."

Isaac shared pictures from the couple's big day which showed them having confetti thrown over their heads by friends and family while another snap showed the pair standing on a retro red double decker bus.

Isaac's former castmate Sophie Turner - who played his onscreen sister Sansa Stark in Game of Thrones - shared her happiness in the comments section, writing: "Congratulations Isaaaaaac!!!!!!"

While Samwell Tarly actor John Bradley added: "Oh MATE!! Congratulations!"

Isaac - who took a break from acting to earn a degree in neuroscience - previously admitted he was baffled by the Game of Thrones ending and thought it was a "joke".

The actor admitted he couldn't believe it when showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss told him his character - who became known as the Three-Eyed Raven - would be the one who ended up ruling over Westeros.

He said: "I genuinely thought it was a joke script and that [showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss] sent to everyone a script with their own character ends up on the Iron Throne.

'Yeah, good one guys. Oh s**t, it's actually real?'"

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Isaac admitted he was actually disappointed he didn't get the chance to film a dramatic death scene, saying: "I'm happy. Though I kind of did want to die and get in one good death scene with an exploding head or something.

"I think he'll be a really good king actually. Perhaps there will be something missing in having real emotive leader, which is a useful quality in a king or queen as well. At the same time, you can't really argue with Bran. He's like, 'No, I know everything.'"
