With the 2025-26 Super Smash set to start on Boxing Day - a new bonus points system has been announced.
Points will be up for grabs for teams who score 150 runs or more in either innings - or achieve a run-rate greater than 1.25 times that of the opposition.
New Zealand Cricket say the move hopes to promote higher scoring cricket that aligns with the evolving standards of the international game.
White Ferns head coach Ben Sawyer says the revised points structure will incentivise performances that enhance the team's prospects of success on the international stage.
