    A 41-year-old Auckland man has received the maximum sentence for possessing child sex material


    Joshua David Evans appeared in Waitakere District Court yesterday after pleading guilty to three representative charges.

    They related to 93 objectionable images and videos depicting sexual abuse of children as young as babies.

    Internal Affairs investigated after alerted to Evan's online activity - by the US.

    He's been sentenced to six months community detention, 12 months intensive supervision, and 120 hours community service.
