Fourth of July weekend is causing havoc at US airports with the highest passenger numbers since before 2020

Fourth of July weekend is causing havoc at US airports with the highest passenger numbers since before 2020

Friday's numbers were up 13 percent from last year, with just under 2.5 million people passed through security checkpoints.

Travellers seem undeterred by rising fares and the ongoing prescence of Covid-19.
